It's the Raspberry Pi 3 B+! So what's new? Let's quickly break down the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ specs with a TL;DR.

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ offers more power, capability and features:

  • Better networking with WiFi now 802.11.b/g/n/ac
  • Bluetooth 4.2/BLE
  • Gigabit Ethernet (although limited to 300Mbps)
  • For Makers, the Raspberry Pi Foundation has made it easier to incorporate the RPi3B+ into end products, keeping the RPi3B+ in production until at least January 2023.
  • A "modular compliance certification" for the wireless module is also provided.
Note: In case you were wondering, the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ uses the Cyprus Wireless CYW43455 and this is located under the shielding with the metallic Raspberry Pi logo.
