Warranty Information
All Raspberry Pi products sold by Little Bird Electronics Pty Ltd include guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Software and firmware are not covered by our warranty policy. This means that any issues or malfunctions related to the software or firmware, including bugs, compatibility problems, or updates, are not eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under warranty. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that their system is compatible with the software or firmware provided. Our warranty only covers physical hardware defects and failures.
Return Process

Contact Us: If you believe your Raspberry Pi is faulty, please contact our customer service team at team@littlebird.com.au within 14 days of receiving the product. Provide a detailed description of the issue.

Initial Troubleshooting: Our technical support team will work with you to identify the issue and attempt to resolve it remotely. Many perceived faults are often due to compatibility issues with accessories or incorrect setup.

Return Authorisation: If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions.

Shipping: Please return the product in its original packaging, if possible, to Little Bird, Unit 13, 8-12 Leighton Place, Hornsby, NSW, 2077, Australia, 1300 240 817. Include the RMA number on the package. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us unless the product is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect.

Assessment: Upon receipt, our technicians will assess the product to determine if there is a fault covered under warranty.
Assessment Fees
- If the product is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you, including return shipping.
- If no fault is found, or if the issue is determined to be caused by incompatible accessories, incorrect usage, or damage not covered under warranty, an assessment fee of AUD $179 will be charged. This fee covers our costs for receiving, testing, and returning the product.
Refunds and Replacements
- For faulty products: We will provide a full refund or a replacement, including reimbursement for reasonable return shipping costs up to a maximum of $12.50. If a replacement is sent, we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.
- For non-faulty returns: If the item is not found to be faulty after assessment, no refund will be provided. Instead, an assessment fee of $179 will be charged to cover the costs of receiving, testing, and returning the product.
Important Notes
- This policy applies only to Raspberry Pi products purchased directly from Little Bird Electronics Pty Ltd.
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modifications is not covered under this policy.
- We recommend thoroughly checking the compatibility of all accessories and add-ons before purchasing and using them with your Raspberry Pi.
